So this place had been on my list forever . I'm so glad we finally made it . It was more than an hour drive but so worth it . I was looking for a unique dinning experience and we found it . Walking in I felt like I was literally walking inside an enchanted forest . There is leaves ,trees and lights everywhere I loved it! Even the restroom was in theme . The theme is just a genius idea. Once we got seated we got greeted by our waiter named Marci she gave us some head bands that light up with flowers it definitely made me feel like a fairy super cute . Marci went above and beyond with her service she was super nice and attentive. For food we got the Strawberry Goat Salad to start with some drinks hubby got a Pliny beer and I got some hard Kombucha very good . After looking at the menu and trying to decide I went with the Short Rib the meat was so tender the mashed potatoes were so good too . The hubby got the Irish Gold Miners Pasty Pie it comes with edible gold wow .. The food was 10/10 so so delicious! Overall we had a great unique dinning experience . The theme was very cool we are so glad we got to experience it . The food and service was 10/10 so good and Marci was amazing. We found out a few restaurants from Placerville were featured on a Food Network show called Best Bite In Town . Enchanted Forest happened to be one of them featured on the show . Definitely a must watch show . I highly recommend this restaurant can't wait to go back .

I signed up to get texts from them, and they were nice enough to send me a coupon. So, I decided to come back for lunch again. Once again, overall, very good. The service was great. This time, I decided to have the shepherds pie pastie. It came with a very nice salad, with the same honey mead dressing that I had the last time, and also mashed potatoes on the side. The salad was good, I love that dressing,, and I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. They had little pieces of potato in them, so you could tell that they were made from real potatoes. Very good. Because shepherds pie is made with lamb, the dish came with a mint jelly on the side. It was already good as it was, the mint jelly just put it over the top. The lamb was tender and delicious. However, the potatoes in the pastie were just a bit too al dente for my personal taste. Also, the crust, especially on the bottom, was a bit too brown for my personal taste. The meal was still very, very good. I won't take off a star, because I know that everybody's taste is different. Even before the coupon, the price was very reasonable. I will continue to come back. Thank you again.
